Calculations happen on your device
The tools run in your browser. This application does not send calculator inputs, camera selections, compatibility forms or uploaded floor plans to an application server.
Browser storage
The simulator saves a plan only when you choose “Save in browser”. It stores camera positions and settings in localStorage under sic-coverage-plan. Uploaded images are not retained. Clear this site’s browser storage to remove a saved plan.
Shared URLs and exported files
Choosing “Share calculation” adds calculator inputs to the URL. Anyone with that URL can read the values. Exported CSV and JSON files are saved by your browser to your device. Treat floor dimensions and equipment plans as information you control.
Hosting and external links
Ordinary requests for the site can be logged by the hosting provider, including IP address, browser information and requested URL. External manufacturer and ONVIF links have their own privacy practices. No advertising or analytics scripts are included in this application.
